What is OpenCV?
OpenCV (Open Source Computer Vision Library) is an open source C/C++ library for image processing and computer vision. It is a library of programming functions mainly aimed at real time image processing. It is free for both commercial and non-commercial use under the open source BSD license. OpenCV was originally written in C but now has a full C++ interface and all new development is in C++.
